Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Growler Week?
Growler Week is a collection of annual events designed to promote professional collaboration and foster camaraderie between the many Military and Civilian organizations, Industry partners, and generations of Aviators that represent the rich heritage and exciting future of Airborne Electronic Attack.
Who can participate in Growler Week events?
Not all of these events are open to the public. Unless otherwise specified, these events are intended for the Officers assigned to the U.S. Navy’s Electronic Attack Squadrons and their families. We are also pleased to welcome the Electronic Attack community’s Civilian team members, Senior Navy leaders, Industry partners, and other invited guests.
When is Growler Week 2026?
The events this year will be held from July 27-August 1, 2026. Dates for individual events and links to their tickets will be hosted on this website.
Why do Growler Week events cost money?
The setup, entertainment, venues, and services utilized throughout the events this year do cost money so a fee is often times required for attendance to cover the event’s price. Under no circumstances does the community “pocket” any of the funds collected for Growler Week activities. For 2026, there is expected to be a small rise in cost as a result of economic trends, distributor/vendor pricing, etc. Please reference the individual events’ links where we intend to be as clear as possible about what your ticket will be covering! We have also transitioned to Zeffy to be our ticket provider in order to minimize fee costs associated with the tickets.
Where are the Growler Week events located?
All of the events are held on scenic Whidbey Island, Washington. Many of the events take place on or near Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI). Specific events locations will be found on their respective pages shortly. If you require base access, please submit this form.
How do I register for a Growler Week event?
We have partnered with Zeffy to provide our guests with a fast and convenient online registration experience. Once set up, each event page will provide you with a link to register for that event, unless that event is free or registration is at the beginning of the event.
Why is there a suggested donation listed on the Ticket purchase page?
Zeffy, our online partner, does not charge any fees for non-profits and instead uses donations to cover transaction fees for tickets. This donation is 100% OPTIONAL, NOT REQUIRED, and the donation goes to Zeffy, not the Electronic Attack Week Fund. You can modify or zero out this contribution amount prior to paying for your ticket.
What payment methods may I use for tickets and registration fees?
We have partnered with Zeffy & Paypal to accept online credit and debit card transactions for Growler Week events.
Checks should be made payable to “Electronic Attack Week Fund.” Drop your check off at the VAQ-129 ODO Desk during normal working hours or mail your check to:
